Hand Lettering Illustration

For this school assignment, I worked on a hand lettering project where we created custom designs using hand-drawn lettering, which were then screenprinted onto actual t-shirts. The process began with sketching and refining various lettering styles, focusing on composition, balance, and creativity. I aimed to create designs that were less serious to appeal to a typical Gen Z customer. After perfecting the hand lettered pieces, I transferred them onto digital formats, ready for screenprinting. The final step involved printing the designs onto shirts, where I could see my work come to life in a tangible way. This project allowed me to explore the artistry of hand lettering while also learning the technical process of screenprinting, giving me a hands-on understanding of how design transitions from paper to product.
